Why IPTV buffers — and how to stop it
IPTV buffering almost always comes from your network, not the channel list. The usual causes are not enough bandwidth, Wi-Fi interference, evening ISP congestion, an underpowered streaming device, or a distant server. Fixes are practical: run an ethernet cable, use the 5 GHz band, close background downloads, restart the router, pick a nearby server, and choose an HD stream when your connection is busy. Most homes stop buffering after one or two changes.
Buffering — that spinning wheel mid-play — is the most common complaint about any streaming service, IPTV included. The good news is that it is almost always fixable, because the cause is nearly always your home network or device, not the service itself. What buffering actually is
A live stream arrives in small chunks. Your player keeps a short buffer — a few seconds of video held in advance — so that a brief hiccup does not interrupt playback. Buffering happens when that reserve empties faster than it refills: the data is not arriving quickly or steadily enough, so the player pauses to reload. Every cause below is really a version of the same problem — the stream cannot keep the buffer full.
The real causes and their fixes
The table maps each common cause to the fix that resolves it. Work down the list; most households fix buffering with the first one or two rows.

Test your speed on the device itself
Run a speed test on the same TV or box you stream with, in the evening. If you are not clearing roughly 25 Mbps free while other devices are active, bandwidth is your bottleneck.

Go wired if you can
An ethernet cable to the streaming device removes Wi-Fi from the equation entirely and is the single most effective fix. No port? A powerline or MoCA adapter is the next best thing.

Move to 5 GHz Wi-Fi
If wiring is impossible, connect to the 5 GHz band rather than 2.4 GHz, and place the router or a mesh node in line of sight of the TV.

Restart the router and app
Reboot the router, then fully close and reopen the player. This clears a stale connection and often re-routes you to a healthier server.

Raise the buffer, then lower the quality
Increase the cache in your player's settings. If a channel still stutters at peak time, drop it from 4K to HD — a steady HD picture always beats a stalling UHD one.
Wi-Fi versus ethernet
Wi-Fi is convenient but shares the air with your neighbours, your microwave and every other device in the house. A wired connection is private, consistent and immune to interference — which is why it is our first recommendation for any TV that stays in one place. Why it only buffers at night
If your stream is flawless at 2 pm and choppy at 9 pm, the cause is congestion, not your subscription. Between roughly 7 and 11 pm, everyone in your neighbourhood is streaming at once, and both your ISP's local segment and the wider internet get busier. A wired connection and a slightly lower stream quality ride through peak hours far better than Wi-Fi at maximum resolution.
